Advantage Program Rep, Govt



Incumbent will meet and exceed monthly quota objectives by growing and retaining individual liable business within federal government agencies. Responsible for coordinating with other business units, managing marketing initiatives, and participating in customer meetings and events to ensure successful execution within assigned accounts.









POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:





  • Responsible for driving sales and supporting our federal government individual liable business within a specified target account list to achieve metrics established for the government division. Partner with Direct Government Sales reps, Retail and ERP to drive individual liable business through Government benefit, and strategic marketing partner programs. Increase overall company activations by developing, organizing, and executing at federal government events including but not limited to: Employee Days, Vendor Fairs, and other government onsite events. Utilize solution based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. Recommend wireless solutions with regard to price plans, data and other enhanced services, handsets and accessories.



  • Coordinating with other business units the timelines and locations of customer events to drive successful results and participation at these venues. Create deeper brand awareness and drive customer traffic to Retail/ERP in assigned territory. Build strong partnerships with Retail and ERP employees and provide timely updates on new agreements / BPAs signed by Direct Sales reps.



  • Continuously update knowledge of wireless products, services, general knowledge of industry trends and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace. Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings.



  • Responsible for driving marketing collateral into departmental magazines, websites and on site locations.



  • Fully utilize all sales force automation tools. Generate reports track and identify sales success for vendor fairs and Premiere Discount Programs.



  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate T-Mobile products and services



POSITION REQUIREMENTS





  • 3 years Sales or customer service experience minimum required.



  • 2 years Experience in wireless telecommunications desired.



  • Ability to absorb large amounts of technical knowledge.





  • Requirements:


  • Strong listening, multi-tasking, communication and time management skills.



  • Must have a valid Drivers license and satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance.



  • Minimum of 50% travel required



  • 90% Ability to work in field majority of the day calling on clients



  • Ability to work face to face with potential or existing clients.



  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.



  • Bachelors degree preferred.
